BE COURAGEOUS

Hello Beautiful People As we come to the end to a perfect month, I stumbled on a mail I sent about 3 years ago. I was very proud of myself when i went through it because even though it reminds me of a failed experience, I was glad i was courageous about it. Many times we go through life unsure of the exact outcome of things and that in itself is not bad. In fact it is perfectly ok. One important thing to watch out for are the processes in your journey. After this experience I have learnt to put everything in God's hands and trust. Courage doesn't mean knowing it all. Courage means knowing and being aware that God is capable of handling your situation. No one is ever courageous for not trying because it is in the movement that you builds character. Whenever you are stationary, not moving, not changing, not growing, not dreaming, 99.99998% of the time there is a fear or discouragement factor in the picture. As I hold this lesson to chest I move into the new month celebrating Go...

MID YEAR STOCK TAKING

Even though this post is several years due it still holds true today, As we come to the end of the first half of an amazing year,  there are many things to be grateful for.  In a place where there is a lot of uncertainty, what you have inside is what remains the most constant part. As a country, as a world, as individuals, there has been a lot of learning and unlearning, growing, pruning and changing. In many areas of our lives, there has been many seasons. But top of my list is gratitude. I just looked at my to do list for this year and I almost chuckled out loud because it seemed like a lofty dream in another life. I started taking mental note and I am not the same person that started the year. Birthday season 2018  I once heard that as you grow and evolve, your preferences evolve and I noticed that at the beginning of the year there are alot of things I wanted to do but they were not properly articulated but they got done just not the way I expect...

A lil something on the marriage issue

Isaiah 34:16-17 New International Version (NIV)                               16  Look in the scroll of the Lord and read:                                   None of these will be missing,                                   not one will lack her mate.                                   For it is his mouth that has given the order,    ...

Adventure

I have been in a stock taking mood of late. Birthdays do that to me. I have been wondering, where am I?, what do i have? What have i done? How have i evolved? Am i stuck? Yeah usually i've been termed to be happy-go-lucky, but I'm still yet do decide if that's a good thing or a bad thing. Earlier this year i went for a ladies only meeting and during that meeting for some strange reason, i just opened up all my doors and relaxed because 80% of the things i heard, i had heard before or known, but for some reason it just felt like sitting in the rain (Now no offence but you have been old your whole life if you never sat in the rain, sang in the rain, danced in the rain in your underwear or fully clothed or cried in the rain).   The words just kept washing over me and after the meeting i felt lost. In places where i had heard this things before, I was known, I had a crew and sometimes family.  Even though i tried to mingle a bit and do fellowship after fellows...
