When we apply for jobs, self-leadership is a critical factor that employers look for. They forget to add that the self-leadership includes mind-reading of both your boss and client and always being a cutting edge solution provider. Now adult online education is the next near thing to that. being that I love social interaction, schooling with colleagues I may never meet on discussion boards people don't get to use, I kinda feel left out. The readings are a constant reminder that you are very much in school and adding that to deadlines and life generally puts the extra in DSTV extra. At some point ( more like 2 courses later) I had an eureka moment and I have decided that in order to build my writing for the 3000 word long assignments I will start writing my thoughts from the weekly reading because when I read without those I feel like I didn't read (no thanks to study groups and discussion classes).
